When I write a review I always check to see what other people are writing and compare to the experience I had. After reading some of the other reviews, I discovered that some of the other customers had written things that I had not experienced. Most revolved around not wanting to pay for services rendered. I felt that THE Moving Company did a good job of delivering my goods. They took the time to protect my furnishings which was important to me. When they finished I paid the bill and I was happy with the service. Keep in mind, I have very nice furniture and it was delivered without a mark. I expect to pay more for quality service and that is what I received. You cannot drive a Mercedes for the price of a KIA. I found their service to be outstanding and their pricing to be fair and reasonable. I would give the company a 9.8 out of 10!!
I AM IN TOWN ( San Antonio) VISITING MY SISTER AND I recently found out that I was going to have to move from Denver Colorado to Seattle WA. Way back in 2005 I used a company called The Moving Company to get my things to Denver from San Antonio. They came to my home and told me they would pick me up on Monday morning and deliver my goods on Wednesday morning. I thought , ARE YOU SURE? Sure enough on Wednesday morning at 8:00AM the truck was in front of my new home. I was so impressed with the service I kept their number. While in SA I called them to see if they could take me to Seattle WA. Unfortunately I was told the pickup or delivery would have to be in Texas. However, the company gave me some great money saving ideas on how to get delivered to WA. They also Thanked me for calling back! This is a great company. They helped me, even though they could not make my delivery. That is why I called back 12 YEARS LATER!! If they gave me that level of service 12 years ago, i am sure they can get you across town pretty easily.
I used The Moving Company last week and had what I considered a very good experience given how difficult moving is in a lot of ways. The men who moved me did a great job of getting my things delivered. I am a single Mom and I could not do it on my own. I thought about renting a truck but I tried that before and could not count on my friends to help and did not want to imposed on them. I called The Moving Company and the gentlemen did a great job of getting me set up in my new home. Initially, I was concerned about the expense, but when I factored in the cost of the rental and my time and my friends, it came out to be surprisingly inexpensive. I also did not have to load the items myself. I would give the Team from The Moving Company an A rating for their performance and customer service. Keep it Up!
I have only moved a few times in my lifetime. I hired this company to get my families furniture hauled from one location to another. They did a fine job! I DO NOT ENJOY MOVING, but these guys were courteous and spent the time necessary to delivery my things correctly. I appreciate the good service!!
My daughter lives in San Antonio and I live in Houston. She had to move at the last minute and I called The Moving Company to get it done. They assembled a team and had someone there in about 1 hour. The job was done quickly and actually ended up costing less than I anticipated. The move was important because she had to be out of her apartment that day, or she would have to pay for another month. She is a student at UTSA and we were given a student discount by the company. Great work!!! Very responsive!
